Shipping and delivery
Our items can be shipped or hand-delivered in the case of valuable and fragile objects. Shipping or delivery costs for the whole of Switzerland are calculated depending on the shipping method, whether Economy or Priority, as well as the size and weight of the packaging. Shipping costs are between 25 CHF and 45 CHF. Hand-delivery costs between 50 CHF and 250 CHF depending on the delivery location and size of furniture within Switzerland. In some cases, shipping may be included in the sale price. Shipping takes place within 5-7 working days after payment confirmation.
Shipping abroad
For deliveries abroad, costs are calculated separately, in addition, not all items can be shipped abroad, especially for furniture and larger items, collection by the buyer is required. For deliveries outside Switzerland and the Eurozone, import duties may be charged to the customer.
Special packaging
The Chicca shop charges packaging costs for fragile items that require appropriate and specific packaging with a tailor-made box, bubble wrap, paper, sponge and filling material. The packaging costs are normally added to the selling price.
Goods insurance and fragile
The goods shipped can only be insured if they are sent by Priority with a surcharge of 6.50 Swiss francs. Optionally, the goods can also be sent as fragile with a surcharge of 6.95 Swiss francs.
Payments methods
For all online shop orders you can choose between the payment methods cash on collection or payment with bank transfer (invoice). Please note: we do not absorbe bank, exchange fee or any other fee related to the payment. As a means of payment, we accept bank transfer or Postfinance. Since more people may be interested in the same object, the object can only be reserved for the time necessary to pay the object. Payment must be made within a few days of receiving our invoice.
Returns and refunds
We accept returns within 10 working days of delivery and only for items that do not match the images published on the Chicca listings or the shop website. In this case, should a shipping error occur, refund of the returned object will be made within 10 working days. If the package is lost during shipping, the amount paid will be refunded in full.
