Ross Franklin Littell (1924 – 2000) Ross Littell (1924–2000) was an American designer known for his work in modernist furniture and textile design. After studying at Pratt Institute, he gained recognition in the 1950s for innovative designs like the T-chair (1952), now in MoMA’s collection. Littell also designed textiles for Knoll, Herman Miller, DePadova and Matteo Grassi, winning multiple awards.
